Ingredients Required For Honey and Mustard Sausages
30/50 Cocktail sausages or 18 Normal Sausages
3 x tbsp Sunflower Oil
3 x tbsp Dijon Mustard
3 x tbsp Clear Honey
For these bad boys first of all get your oven on to about 200 Degrees Celsius or gas mark 6! Then get a large oven dish and add a dash of oil to it before grabbing your cocktail sausages and mixing them in there. (If you have normal sausages just cut them up into half pieces)!
Once that is done throw the hole lot in the oven for a good 20 minutes and get cracking on the sauce. Now grab a bowl and add your honey and your mustard and give it a jolly good stir. Once complete place to one side.
When your sausages are lovely and golden brown, remove them from the oven and check the oven dish for any unnecessary fat! If there is some then drain it away but not down the sink otherwise you could end up with a blockage!!!
Now that you have removed your unwanted fat (if any) then add your honey and mustard sauce to the sausages (still in the oven dish) and mix them all together so each sausage gets a good coating. When that’s done, place the hole lot back in the oven for an extra 5/10 minutes just to make the sauce extra sticky!
And thats it done! Remove from the oven and serve in a bowl with a generous helping of cocktail sticks on the side! Then just sit back and await the compliments! Enjoy!!
